Usher Raymond sauntered down the red carpet before being celebrated for helping young people all over the world develop leadership skills.
“To travel all around the world and get awards for music is really great, but to be able to be recognized for the work from your heart is even better,” said Usher.
He is one of the 10 philanthropists being honored at the 20th Annual Freedom Awards hosted by the National Civil Rights Museum.
Usher says he started Usher’s New Look Foundation because of what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. first stood for.
“All the sacrifices that were made for us to have these rights were not in vain,” said Usher.

Usher a commencé New Look Foundation en raison de ce que le Dr Martin Luther King Jr. première représentait.
